Scanmudring removed soil plugs from 20 foundation piles across five North Sea locations, adapting the SPRT03 method to soil strengths ranging from soft clay to approximately 800 kPa stiff clay and successfully handling unexpected boulders.

Scanmudring delivered flexible, high-capacity trenching for critical pipelines and an umbilical offshore West Africa, adapting efficiently to complex seabed conditions and securing reliable subsea protection.

Scanmudring treated approximately 60 km of offshore cable, achieving a target lowering depth of approximately 1.5–2.0 m, with only around 10% of the route requiring a second pass. The campaign combined SCANCFE 4500 Controlled-flow technology, PG16 profiling equipment and ScanCrawler for cable-route work and targeted intervention in restricted-access foundation areas.

Scanmudring completed high-precision seabed levelling across four offshore foundation areas, combining purpose-built tooling, semi-automatic control and adaptable execution at 119 m water depth.

Scanmudring delivered a complete seabed remediation campaign across three planned foundation areas. By combining high-capacity grab excavation with controlled subsea dredging and precision levelling, approximately 7,600 m³ of extremely stiff and sticky clay was removed or relocated to prepare the seabed for installation.

Following a successful 2018 campaign, the client returned to Scanmudring for a second scope supporting the footprint of a drilling rig. The 40Te Scanmachine was used to relocate rockdump, remove debris and uncover pipe for DWS, delivering long-duration subsea work with strong efficiency and reliable performance.

Four pits excavated beneath existing pipelines, plus berm levelling and boulder removal, just outside the platform safety zone. Soil reports specified sand but the seabed was clay throughout. The 20Te Scanmachine handled it in 24 days with no breakdowns.

When groundwater flooded a 6.4 km S-Bahn expansion beneath Minna-Cauer-Strasse, the tunnel was deliberately submerged. Scanmudring's remote-controlled excavator cut grout piles and dredged the pit out in near-zero visibility.

Relocating 6,961 m3 of rockdump to support a drilling rig footprint at two locations, without adding gravel. A 2 m3 grab on the new 40Te Scanmachine reached 55 m3/h against a simulated 48, in low visibility and strong tidal currents.

A rock dumping vessel had placed scour protection around the jacket, but the inside still needed filling. The ScanCrawler placed gravel around the spudcans while the 15Te Scanmachine fed it from outside, working inside the structure in 11 days.
