The Scanmachines are Scanmudring’s heavy-duty, electrically powered subsea excavators, developed as tool-carriers for complex seabed interventions including excavation, trenching, dredging, rock removal, levelling, and material relocation. Combining high mechanical force, modular tooling, and integrated monitoring, they support controlled work in close proximity to structures across multiple offshore industries.

Scanmudring’s Controlled Flow Excavators (ScanCFE) are fully electric, high-power tools for seabed levelling, asset-safe trenching and controlled post-trenching/backfilling around subsea pipelines and cables, with deepwater capability to 3,000 m.

Scanmudring’s Cutting portfolio covers subsea cold-cutting and supporting preparation tools for decommissioning, modification, repair, and construction support. The core offering is abrasive water jet cutting (SACS) with internal/external, hole, and window cutting tools, complemented by diamond wire saw solutions for selected scopes and coating/surface preparation tools where required.

Scanmudring’s Soil Plug Removal Tools enable controlled removal of soil plugs and obstructions inside piles/sleeves and other tubular structures, typically to prepare for subsequent installation steps such as stabbing pin insertion, grouting, or internal cutting.

Scanmudring’s HP Jetting & Cleaning category provides seawater-based high-pressure cleaning, surface preparation, and coating removal for offshore wind, oil and gas, decommissioning, and infrastructure projects.

Specialised tools for internal pile preparation and obstruction removal during offshore wind foundation installation.

Scanmudring’s Grabs portfolio supports subsea excavation, boulder and debris handling, rock dump and gravel relocation, grout bag removal, and high-precision seabed levelling.

Scanmudring’s Drilling/Coring System is a subsea drilling and sampling capability used for anchoring/bolting, controlled rock preparation (including drilling for non-explosive splitting), and soil/rock coring for investigations.

Engineering at our core, the experience to take you further.

Scanmudring’s ScanHub & Standalone Dredges provide compact, robust dredging units for seabed remediation and targeted material relocation where a full excavator spread is not required.

Scanmudring’s ROV Dredges provide a low-footprint dredging capability for work-class ROVs, suited for targeted excavation, asset exposure, and local material relocation where volumes and distances are limited.

Scanmudring’s HD Tool-Carrier category is a heavy-duty, crane-assisted tool carrier designed to act as the common subsea power, control, and handling platform for multiple tooling packages.
